The Borough Manager has also been appointed by Council to serve as the Borough Treasurer.  Please feel free to send any comments, questions, or suggestions about Borough finances to sbryant@narberthpa.gov.
For more on her background that qualifies her for this role, please see the following:  She holds a certification in Public Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and worked for a year in the Finance Department for the Town of Hilton Head Island following graduation.  In that role, she identified millions of dollars in sales taxes that were being paid to the wrong municipality or not at all to the Town, analyzed the impact of tax exempt properties on town finances, and collected business license and ambulance fees.  In her work at Doylestown Township, she was responsible for assisting with the oversight and administration of various grant programs.  And in her work in New Britain Borough and now in Narberth she oversees creation of the annual budget, completion of annual audits, and oversight for accounts payable and receivable.  She created the first balanced budget in six years in New Britain Borough, and only had one tax increase in her six years working there.  In 2018, New Britain Borough received the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award.  In Narberth Borough, its first ever audit with no findings attributed to the Borough was completed in her first year.  Through the use of grants, equitable revenue collection, and sensible efficiency improvements, she has been able to deliver exception value to taxpayers without cutting government services.
