In response to ongoing traffic safety concerns from residents, the Public Health & Safety (PH&S) Committee has been working for several months to find solutions for the 200 block of Price Avenue. After reviewing multiple options proposed by engineering firm Pennoni, the PH&S Committee approved a restriping pilot plan at their March 20th Council Business Meeting.
This pilot will add new striping along the 200 block of Price Ave to restrict parking at intersections and near driveways. The goal is to improve visibility and safety by creating space for vehicles to pull over and by increasing sight lines for drivers entering or exiting driveways. This is a six month pilot program running from May through October 2025.
