Draft 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan

The Draft 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Narberth Borough was presented at the regularly scheduled and public Council meeting on Thursday, July 18, 2024. The Draft CIP is a planning document that identifies and prioritizes known capital expenses over a five-year timeline, and will be used to guide funding decisions for future Borough operating Budgets.

Borough Council will consider adopting a Final CIP at the regularly scheduled Council meeting on August 15, 2024.

Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Cancelled

Please be advised that the Parks and Recreation Board meetings scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, and Wednesday, August 14, 2024 have been cancelled.

The next Parks and Recreation Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 7:00PM. In support of the Master Parks Planning Committee, the Parks & Rec Board is asking all Narberth residents to complete the Master Parks Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/narberthparks

Infrastructure Committee Meeting – 1PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2024

The Narberth Borough Infrastructure Committee will be meeting at 1PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The meeting will include an update on the Narberth Avenue Bridge project by the project engineer.

Snow Emergency Lifted 10AM Saturday, February 17, 2024

The snow emergency, declared last night, will end at 10:00 am today, February 17, 2024. With your help, Narberth Public Works successfully cleared roadways, ensuring safe travel today.

Property owners are reminded that Borough Ordinance 446-2, Duty to Remove Snow and Ice, requires all property owners with properties abutting public streets in the Borough of Narberth to clear or cause to be cleared a pathway in the sidewalks fronting their respective properties in accordance with the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, not later than 12 hours after snow, ice, or sleet has ceased to fall. The pathway shall be not less than 36 inches (three feet) in width and shall be thoroughly cleared of snow and ice.

Please continue to use caution as you travel around the Borough and continue to check on our elderly residents who may be in need of extra assistance.
