HARB Workshop Series

Please join us on Thursday evening, March 2nd for our free in person Window Workshop, the first of three preservation-themed workshops that will focus on the care and repair of older homes.

This workshop will introduce homeowners to common DIY repairs, such as reglazing, sash cord/chain replacement, and weatherstripping.

Location: Narberth Community Building, East Wing [American Legion Room]

Time: 7:00-8:30 p.m.

The workshop will be led by Ray Tschoepe, formerly the Director of Conservation at the Fairmount Park Conservancy, an instructor in the preservation program at Bucks Community College, and a regular contributor to Old House Journal.

Subsequent workshops will focus on Interior Plaster [March 30 at the Lower Merion Township Building] and Mortar Repointing [April 27 at Narberth Borough Hall].

This workshop series is co-sponsored by Narberth Borough’s Historical Architectural Review Board [HARB], the Lower Merion Conservancy, and Lower Merion Township’s HARB and Historical Commission.
