The Borough-owned bridge is scheduled to begin demolition and replacement in 2020. In order to meet that deadline, final design plans are being finished by the Boroughs design team from Pennoni Associates and will be reviewed by PennDOT. As that date approaches, the Borough will be scheduling a public meeting to go over project scope, timing, and impacts. In the meantime, the Borough continues to work with its local, regional, and state transportation planning partners to advocate for the timely replacement of this important piece of regional infrastructure.
